Castle of Limbs

It really pisses me off when people are earnestly like: “this is the best way to get out of class”, “fuck learning”, “all this shit is irrelevant”, “this is the best way to not do an assignment and get away with it” etc. Like yes, sometimes work is frustrating, I don’t mean complaining about that, I mean when people express sentiments glorifying time-wasting and a lack of effort, it’s gross.

It really makes me angry, because education is incredibly important imo, and why would you throw that away by messing around? Yes, syllabuses can be oppressive, and teach you stuff you don’t want to know, nobody’s arguing that. I just do not see why people don’t always do their best, or the best that their circumstances allow. If you go to public school, this is the only basically free education you are ever going to get, and if you’re at a tertiary or private institution, you’re just wasting money, and taking spots away from people who actually want to learn.

Whenever I see that shit, I can’t take the person who said it seriously.
